Name: Mark Maine
Other Comments: I went on Plenty of Fish dating online. I went through 'Meet Me' and thought his pictures looked nice. He couldn't have come from some agency because he just looked like and average joe with a son. He told me what they all do I'm a single dad and lost my wife and eldest child in a terrible accident. I own my own construction company but am from the UK where only my mother lives and she's watching my son. Then he called me and I couldn't understand what he was saying. Then he said it was because he was trying to mix the London accent with the American one and even his mom said it was terrible. I decided after 5 days of listening to these romantic e-mails that something wasn't right. So I called back at the number he called me from which was the Austin, Texas area code, but a smart phone or something. Some other idiot answered 'Hello, hello, and I heard others laughing in the background. I asked for his address and he gave me one that was in Miami without giving me the house address number. Fed Ex is trying to deliver flowers to me, but I wasn't home yesterday and never received them. He called again last night but I didn't tell him I was on to him (the same african accent) and he's still telling me he loves me. He said that on August 23rd or 24th that he was going to bring his son to visit me. I will not be surprised if it is cancelled because he can't fake his color or what the picture looks like. I know this is a romance scam because it has all the classic symptoms of being one.
